Hi, I am Booty. Actually my name on my papers is "A Pirate's Treasure". Lots of people mistake me for a wolf but I am a Siberian Husky. I have my own page to get out the news important to PETS. I am a member of Snow Dogs meetup on Yahoo! We are made up of Huskys, Malmutes, Klee Kai and any one else that just wants to have fun with us. I have a little brother (Tazer). He is a happy little dude and obnoxious. He bugs me alot. Oh well, I gave him a little section on right called Tazer's Tidbits. MOM says I have to share. (When she's not looking, I WILL take my toys back!)

Below are some links to dog parks. I have done my best to check them out, I even went to the beach at New Smyrna. My favorite is Barber Park in Conway but there are lots of good ones in all areas of town.

You can also reach the dog park through West Orange Park- the dog park is part of West Orange Park. There is additional parking. Smyrna Dunes Park

Located at Ponce Inlet and Peninsula. Open 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Benches, tables, poopbags, trees, parking, phones, restrooms, water, trash cans, shelter. Space for dogs to run, play on the beach

Dog Beach - Ponce Inlet

One of our kind readers tells us there is a beach in Ponce Inlet (also in Volusia County) where leashed dogs are welcome and even scented clean-up bags are provided. She said the beach is inside the Ponce Inlet/ Volusia County park which costs $3 to get in unless you have a decal for $30/yr. (The toll booth attendant will give you directions to it.) She said the area is at the west end of the rock jetty and curves around the river. It has a nice grassy area where you can walk for probably a mile down the river. Except for summer, there are very few people with dogs there.
